| MIG-2209 is designed to weld duplex stainless steels such as 2205 (UNS Number N31803). High tensile strength and improved resistance to stress corrosion cracking and pitting characterize the welds of this wire. This wire is lower in ferrite compared to that of base metal in order to obtain improved weldability. | ||||||||||||||||||||||

1. Shielding gas: 98% Ar + 2% O₂; 2.Shielding gas flow rate: 20-25 l/min; 3.Wire stick-out: 15-25 mm; 4. Interpass temperature: ≤150℃; 5. Prior to welding, base metal surfaces should be cleaned of grease, oil and corrosion contamination; 6. Take proper protection against wind to prevent blowholes when welding outdoors. |
